Only had the flip phone camera with me so not the best image quality.

Sail from Essington PA on Friday morning to Delaware City DE then wait a few hours for a favorable current in the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal to Chesapeake City MD.

The entrance to Chesapeake City is silted up with only a narrow channel off the Army Corp bulkhead deep enough. Silted up alongside the town dock so drop anchor in the anchorage area near back creek.

Sunrise Saturday departure in the canal and channel to Turkey Point, Locust Point then Havre de Grace channel to Perryville.

Perryville town dock next to railway bridge.

Depart Perryville Sunday morning motoring the Havre de Grace channel to Locust Point then sailing at 5-6-7 knots past Turkey Point and the C&D to the railway bridge past Summit.

Motor to Reedy Point, then motor against winds out of the NW 20's gusting to 30's with steep short period breaking waves, to Delaware City. Got a lift back to Philadelphia.

The boat will remain at Delaware City Marina until the following weekend when we get favorable winds out of the south and early morning flood currents.
