Splash will be in early April, and I will be itching for a longer day sail by May. So May 5 day sail to Delaware City and Cinco de mayo celebration, then day sail back to Essington on May 6.

Reedy point arrive about noon half way through the flood in the C&D, and may make summit before the tide change, with some slow motoring to Chesapeake City.

The summer boat trip due to work commitments will be abbreviated at Lewes;
Down the Delaware to Lewes DE, and a few weeks on the lower bay with an excursion beyond Cape Henlopen;
Essington - Delaware City - Cohansey Creek - Lewis - Bidwell Creek - Cohansey Creek - Delaware City - Essington
The Assateague -Chincoteague trip will be another time.
-Depart Lewes DE for Indian River Inlet DE 23nm ocean sailing. Overnight at anchor off Burton Island just inside the inlet. New bridge is complete but the old bridge is schedule for demolition the last week of June 2012, so check with DELDOT before entry.
